American Bulldog
2. How did you learn about the breed?
I saw a Bulldog a few Years ago and became interested of this breed so I checked the Internet and take contact to different breeders.
3. What traits about the breed attracted you to become an owner?
I love the temperament of these dogs. On the one hand there are great family dogs and on the other they’re excellent sport dogs.
4. Who did you get your pup from?
Lennox is from Germany out of the Kennel Chestnut’s Little Indians
5. Statistics – Age, weight, measurements, etc…?
D.O.B.-12.04.04 (5years), weight 86lbs, body height 23.5”
HD B1, ED Free, NCL Clear, Heart -0
6. What do you feed your canine?
Platinum kibble
7. Have you enlisted specialized training for your canine?
Protection, obedience, tracking, weight pull
8. Can you describe your canines’ temperament?
Lennox is a really clear-headed dog with open and friendly temperament. He is very self-assured and has very good nerves.
9. What titles/accolades have you & your canine achieved?
SCHH III, IPO III, BST, BST II, IDT III ranked, AD, CGC, WP I
Also he is a ABNA Grand Champion and Working Conformation Degree and NKC Champion
10. What would you like to see for the breed?
Every American Bulldog should behave well in public so that it is a positive example for the breed and shows that our dogs are not a danger for others.
11. What would you tell a new prospective owner about the breed and selecting a pup?
The American Bulldog is an active dog. Strong and powerful, this breed needs the consequent training and a job to do. Even if kept as a pure family pet the American Bulldog needs some kind of exercise so you should at least do long walks or cycle-rides on a daily basis to keep the dog satisfied and in good condition. If somebody is looking for this breed he/she should look for a reputable breeder with healthy dogs and good temperament.
