Well we made our way to Art’s Obedience at He’eia park tonight for the puppy/beginners class. This is the 2nd time for us and we have come to understand the value of the program with our AB’s. We are fortunate to have a total of (4) littermates in this class - Roberta’s Taz, Lauren’s Maddy, and our 2 boys - Ajax & Lennox. So far so good! Hopefully we’ll make some major OB progress with the group over the next 11 weeks!

Well 2nd class was rough. Ajax doesn’t wanna lie down and doesn’t wanna get up once he does lay down. Arrgghhhhh!

We’ll have to try treats next class….

Well was able to make it and I’m glad I did….

Ajax finally executed his training well. We did a sit/stay and a down/stay….The hard part was getting him to get back up! LOL

Had to miss last night’s class due to work scheduling!

Madeline is really getting the hang of “sit,” “down” & “stay” at home.  Believe me, it’s a step when the other Jack & Chie are here, vying for attention!  She’s nowhere near as quick as that GSD in Leonard’s video , but really… it’s a step.

Another big step: she jumped off the bed on her own today!  I think this is because I had taken an Ambien last night & I didn’t wake up when she wanted down.  I’ve never been able to coax her to come off the bed, even with a box for her to use as a step.  She’ll sit there & wait for me to carry her down.

Thank God she’s learning to get down on her own; she’s starting to get a little heavy.
