Is it a dog park?  I really want to take Chie out to a dog park some time; I have completely neglected her socialization because she seems to sweet & it was a rude awakening when we went walking.

No, but from what RG says, there are a lot of dogs there. Say’s there’s a lot of space to play and no one bothers you. Sounds about right.

You are too kind!  lol

Madeline actually prefers sleeping outside with Jack & Chie most nights; I feel kind of hurt!  I read though that letting your dog sleep on the bed with you can confuse pack authority.  Both Madeline & Chie will not even walk in front of me when I am walking around the yard picking up poop.

Honeygirl has been increasingly more tolerant of Madeline to the point where they end up sleeping only inches away from each other.  Madeline is slowly learning to make slower approaches, with less wiggling & heavy breathing.  One day I will have a cuddling cat & AB!

Lauren, you should read about NILIF. Nothing in life is free training/lifestyle principal for dogs. It was in the training/obedience forum at bulldogbreeds.com.

Honey & Maddy cuddling!?!?! Make sure to take a pic! LOL

Ok, don’t laugh at me, but Madeline won’t get off the bed by herself.  I’ve stacked boxes next to the bed for her to use as steps & she won’t use them.  She has no problem getting ON the bed.

I have to take both her paws & put them on one of the “steps” & then she comes the rest of the way down.

In the meantime I, for some reason, really enjoy her whining.  I find it endlessly amusing.  I’m sure that’s not good.
